Phew, this image took ages.
Going to show you guys all the steps in this one, so you appreciate it.
First I get the sketch down, using loose lines, going over things until I'm happy with what I'm doing.

Then it's time to ink the image.

Finally the easier job of putting down the flat colours, basically filling in the spaces between lines. This is where the magic wand tool in Photoshop comes in handy.

And finally, it's a matter of giving everything some volume by adding shadows and highlights. Then some clouds, to make the sky interesting.

And voila!
